- Congressional Research Services - Foreign Affairs ReportsThe Congressional Research Service (CRS) is a non-partisan agency of the Library of Congress focused on public policy research. The CRS provides legal and policy analysis to members of Congress. However, their reports are not made publicly available on their website. These reports offer authoritative, non-partisan overviews of a variety of issues and topics. The reports can offer good overviews of topics in a region and also often summarize the US position about a country's policy. There are a variety of places to access CRS reports, but note that because the reports are not coming directly from CRS, none claims to be comprehensive.
The FAS has reports grouped by general category but they are not searchable. Use the find feature on your computer (CTRL F or Command F) to look for your country or issue of interest.
