Incorporating Service Learning into an Information Literacy Course

Course Description

In this course, students gain and practice information literacy skills while conducting research for a local non-profit. Students create research portfolios to help our community partner write grants, implement new programs, and reach new audiences. In short, our students make a difference in our community via research.
