This is a guide of general librarian-recommended resources and strategies for distance learners. Subject and discipline specific resources can be found by using the subject guide for your area of study.

Distance Education Support

ALL students, including distance learners, currently enrolled in a course at Wright State University, are entitled to use University Libraries' resources and services such as:

  • Remote access to databases and other electronic materials owned by Wright State and OhioLINK
  • Borrowing privileges from any OhioLINK institution
  • Access to books and articles you need
  • Online library instruction
  • Web-based or streaming video tutorials about information resources
  • Research assistance -- including virtual appointments
    • Choose the "Make an Appointment" option on our Ask a Librarian page . Then under "Location", choose "Virtual Meeting" if you want to use phone and screensharing rather than visiting in person.
