Who is Citing Your Research?
Here are standard sources for anyone trying to find out how many times his/her work has been cited by others. There is no one single source that comprehensively collects and collates this kind of information. Researchers will need to look at each of these recommended resources and compile numbers from each.
- Social Sciences Citation Index This link opens in a new windowIn this database, run a "Cited Reference Search" for the cited author and/or the cited reference (article, chapter, book, etc.)
- Science Citation Index Expanded This link opens in a new windowUse this database to find cited references for publications in Science, Health Sciences, Medicine, Technology and related fields. Run a "Cited Reference Search" for the cited author and/or the cited reference (article, chapter, book, etc.)
- Google ScholarPut quotations around the publication/ chapter/ book/ or article title or the author's name when you search in GS. Many of the items in the results list will have a "Cited by" (+ a number) link.
- Google Scholar CitationsSee who is citing your publications; graph your citations; compute citation metrics
