Welcome to the Communication Research Guide!

Communication is an interdisciplinary field of study that examines intersections between information, media, technology, politics, education, business, society, and more. According to the National Communication Association (n.d.) "at its foundation, Communication focuses on how people use messages to generate meanings within and across various contexts, and is the discipline that studies all forms, modes, media, and consequences of communication through humanistic, social scientific, and aesthetic inquiry."

This guide serves as a starting point for students, researchers, and scholars interested in Communication. Use the tabs above or the links below to browse the resources available through Wright State University Libraries.
